Although a "member" over here for some time now, I've been the consummate lurker: gleaning info regarding new releases but never introducing myself, contributing to the community, or even posting. However, with Forza 3 a week away (a Yank who didn't pre-order from Walmart) I thought I'd do myself a favor and begin ingratiating myself into the Tuning AG community for a few specific reasons:

Dunkee, Quattro Crazy (sp.?), bigbluesd, Red Aaron (sp.?) and Tomassi are four of my favorite painters in FM2. I purchased Dunkee's work whenever credits and good fortune prevailed--far too infrequent an occurrence until he was kind enough to provide me six of his wonderful replicas for naught but a thank you! Of QC's phenomenal catalogue I only managed to acquire the Sun Auto 993 GT2, but what a car to have. Winner of best replica of 2008, my only wish was for a more substantial aero package to go along with the incredible paint. Sadly, I could never even catch a sniff of the Mobil One GT1. And Bob Wollek is my favorite driver! Unfortunately, I've only been able to admire the work of bigbluesd, Red Aaron and Tomassi from afar, but I hope to change that with FM3 (assuming they all come back to AG).

I have also very much cherished the quality of the (too) few AG tunes I managed to drive in FM2. I shall try to build up a few more prior to FM3, and I expect I will not be disappointed. The amount of effort and commitment poured into each AG tune is self-evident immediately, and though the releases may not have been as prolific as other garages, the love has always been present.

Finally, I've always been amazed by (and envied) the spirited sense of community that appears intrinsic to you guys. The turbulence and animosity that seems to befoul the TM all too often never seems to ensnare AG. You have always maintained a united front, with loyalty to the organization and each other paramount.

With the above reasons in mind--and many more--I decided to introduce myself, hoping to at least become a peripheral member of the AG Tuning (read, fanboy, lol). I'd love to be able to race with you guys, contribute on the forum, and of course, grab a copy of every release the moment it hits the storefront!

Hope you guys have room in the community for one more.

regards (and congratulations),

Henk

Best introduction ever, you'll definitely see plenty from us in FM3. Welcome to the community!

Henk-

Wow, you may have never posted before but now that you have, its EPIC! Of course we have room for one more in the AG community! We love hearing from our loyal customers! Once you get the game, make sure to set our main Storefront as a favorite: Tuning AG Sales

You'll be able to find us easily on the Tuner Leaderboards! We have 2 tunes and paints on there already that are FREE!

Andre

Also... If I'm not much mistaken, you should be pleased to know that we should be releasing a rather large catalog of FM2 free tunes very soon. These are cars that we just never got around to releasing...

Welcome to the community, judging by your introduction, its been a long time coming... glad to have ya aboard!

Hello Henk and welcome to AG, yep there are some notable names there and the one which stands out for me is Tomassi for many reasons.

A down to earth guy and a great painter. Myself and Tom worked together on 3 projects when we were both with Garage Setagaya and his style of painting was second to none at that time in my eyes. Oh and the 350z in my sig is one of our projects which we did together, that paint won him an award as well.

Many midnight hours were burned with both of us chatting and sorting out our projects. A great bloke and its a shame that he is not around anymore but you never know do you.

Anyway thanks for a great post and as I always say to people - Enjoy
