The much anticipated Blackjack video dubbed, "The Rising Storm", has touched down with overwhelming appeal after more than a year of production. This latest endeavor of Team Blackjack has taken place in various locations all over the World. With returning members from the original Forza Motorsport franchise, to new members fresh on the roster, this has been the most sought after piece of Forza Motorsport 2 history-in-the-making since the release of Blackjack's "Extra Stage". With further preparations being made as we crossed into the next-generation of gaming, standard definition filming would not properly display the hard work, dedication teamwork put into the production phase of this video, which is why it has been released in High-Definition. Without further adieu, I present to you the long awaited (and not to mention final Blackjack production) video: "The Rising Storm"

GREAT vid!!!

Final vid, eh? That's too bad, but I suppose Landin is a wee bit too busy these days w/ T10 stuff to make them.

Taka, that was 42 shades of awesome right there brother, do you guys really use the Forza cameras or does Landin have some kind of special setup that lets him move cameras around and stuff?

Most of the camera angles are preset in-game cameras and fixed first-person cameras from the cars themselves. There were a few were Landin was able to use the dev kit and record the shots using custom camera angles (but since dev kits don't have internet capabilities or hard drive data swapping, only he and Zach (aka Falco) could do the shots).

Thanks for all the great comments guys, right now I'm trying to find other forums that will let me post it up for people to enjoy. Spread the word!

It's official... Blackjack is also being recognized outside of the video game community along greats like AG Tuning. Today, Wrecked Magazine (Formula D / NOPI drift magazine) has been tipped off by either one of their readers or connections and has posted a HD version of "The Rising Storm" on their website.

Here's the link:

LOL now you guys can see why it took us over a year (other than Landin being MIA after moving to Seattle, WA in August of '07). We all really appreciate the comments EVERYONE leaves us and love to see people we barely know pass the word around like this (like a California wildfire). So far (as far as I know), it's been posted on FM.net, YouTube, WreckedMagazine.com and another unknown car club's website.

Keep the word loud and clear!

I sent Landin a personal XBL message but like I told him, the vid is truly a work of art. Hands down the best vid made from a video game.

You guys should be proud of this because its just awesome....
