THE AG UPDATE
July 23rd, 2008
Hello there my friends, and welcome to the first edition of the AG Update! We'll try to keep this going on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to give our loyal customers the low down (not the down low -- that's something completely different! Thanks Oprah!) on exactly what's going on in this crazy little garage that we like to call home.
First order of business is the addition of five new sellers to the AG La Famiglia. We've brought on five choice picks from the FM community to help meet the demand for releases, and they've been thrown to the wolves in short order with our latest release (but more on that later)! Please give a warm welcome to Animoto, Deano, Tempted, RUGGS & Omega! They'll be pushing out cars left and right to you guys over the next decade or two, treat them kindly!
If you haven't been following the TM, be sure to check out our latest release, the
Triple Threat Evo X Packl! We've put together a stellar lineup of Evolutions across B, A and S class complete with some incredible liveries. The response to this release has been awesome, and our new sellers have been making haste... in the first three days of the release we sold a grand total of 640 cars! That's approximately $250 million worth of inventory! We're blessed to have such great fans and customers, thanks for helping us make this release as successful as its been!
If you haven't grabbed one yet, you might want to stop by the
NS-XXX and Cusco Z Sales Thread and try to pick up these fast puppies... our sales are starting to wind down for that release as we move our focus to the Evos and upcoming projects! The sales for this one were also phenomenal and we had a blast selling the "Rainbow Fever" SEs, the Atrophy LEs, the Junismo Edition SEs and the Gold Nugget Cusco LEs!
With an eye to the future, look out for epic things coming out of AG in the next week or two! Release is imminent on the
McLaren Re-Issue LE, a limited edition holdover from the Trifecta McLaren release. It's looking like there will only be ten serialized units sold for this one, it's gonna be super exclusive and will feature an incredibly detailed rendition of a 1995 Le Mans 24 Hour car painted by famous Italian artist César Baldaccini. The artwork is truly breathtaking and this is guaranteed to be an instant collector's item within the FM community! We'll try to make this car attainable for everybody with both random buyout auctions at the standard price, as well as a few no-buyout auctions for those of us who get nauseous camping the Auction House for hours on end.
That's it for this edition of the AG Update, keep an eye out in this spot from time to time for the next edition to stay on top of all the news and gossip straight from AG headquarters!
