You dont NEED to install disc 1 do you?? I thought it was only mandatory to install disc 2?? I sure as fuck hope not, cause I still only have an old 20 gig HDD......

Vundo is a wicked old virus. It went around when I was in high school I think. Symantec has a little exe file called VundoFix.exe that scans for it and removes it. Make sure you scan in safe mode or it's chances of getting removed aren't as great. AVG is the best "free" virus scanner, but...

I use firefox. Im pretty sure I got it from bittorrent while downloading something that wasnt from demonoid. Wont be doing that again any time soon.. :P

Got rid of the virus last night. Took about 3 hours, but there doesnt seem to be any trace of it left now. :)
