So I have only just checked the news today and saw Sir Bobby Robson passed away this morning  Not gonna mean anything to you US guys I guess, but it is a sad day for English football that's for sure.

I am not a Newcastle or Ipswich fan but I can appreiciate the passion hunger and knowledge the man had for football, I will never forget Italia 90 for many reasons, I was only watching him on the telly the other day for the Bobby Robson cup it was horrible then to see him looking so ill but at least he made to see the match and picked up the Emerald UEFA Order of Merit award.

RIP Sir Bobby

I dont follow football but I do watch it as friends do, one is also a newcastle fan and told me the funniest story about bobby. He said that this guy was talking about going to one of his book signings and obviously bobby had been doing them all day and things were getting a bit tedious so this guy who has been in the queue for a while finally gets to him and theres some small talk. he asks hims how many hes signed today and bobby says "oh hundreds". he takes his freshly signed book, says thanks and leaves. about 20 minutes later on the bus he decides to have a look at his book. it says "best wishes, bobby hundreds"

ive never laughed so much in my life, weve all done it but that is priceless. the mornings text message just said "bobby hundreds has died". sad.
