Sorry but I'm a Mopar fan. New Challenger FTW!
MUWHAHAHHAHAHAAAAHHAAAAHHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA..... seriously, that is some funny shit! Thanks ZD!
Oh wait... were you serious??? The new Challenger, while BEAUTIFUL to look at... is a big, heavy, lumbering POS. Sorry to Mopar fans... (I had a '67 Coronet 500 w/383 and 4speed before I bought my Mustang... that thing was insane, only thing it couldn't pass was a gas station

). My father was a die-hard Chevy guy. He bought me my first car, an '81 Chevy Monte Carlo which was a great car until an '87 Suburban ran a stop-sign in front of me... I bought the Coronet with the insurance money from that wreck... I thought Dad was gonna dis-own me for bringing home a Dodge. Buuuuuuuut... getting back to the new Challenger, I was allowed to test-drive one a couple weeks ago, and I'll say this... I'd love to have one as a daily driver. Its a very comfortable car. Rides and drives like a 300C or Magnum or Charger. Problem is it handles like those cars too, and is actually heavier than a Charger or 300C. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it a 5 as far as driving excitement. It's a classic muscle car. That doesn't work nowadays. If going fast in a straight line is your thing, its a good car. If doing big, smokey burnouts is what you dig, its freakin AWESOME! Other than that, its utter rubbish. I can't speak about the new Camaro yet, because I've not even seen one, let alone had an opportunity to drive one. I will jump at the first chance I get, I assure you! The new (2010) Mustang is, without a doubt the single best "Pony car" I've ever driven. Not the fastest. Not the prettiest. But the best total-package. My local Ford dealer had 6 new V-6 'Stangs sitting on the lot last Friday, and just for shits 'n' giggles I went in and acted serious about buying one. After driving it (a V-6/Auto) I was fully ready to put a deposit down to order a GT. Then, reality set back in and I remembered I'm broke as a joke so I told the salesman that I needed to discuss it with my wife before making a decision.
Ok... enuf rambling... Later!
