How Many Multiplayer Race Rooms Do You See When You Search?

Under Multiplayer Career Races, custom match (with nothing selected other than circuit races), how many rooms does everybody see on average? I tried finding a multiplayer race this afternoon at about 5:30 and only got 14 rooms when I searched. Is that normal? I never get many, it makes it hard to play multiplayer when only 1 or 2 of those rooms are open and on a normal game mode (instead of Nissan Speedway BS).

I think there's more races going on than what is shown. Specific searches get the same amount of rooms that a random search would get...for me at least...
