Sorry if the team name is a bit lame, but its all I could think of on the spot...anyway, I posted this on Forzamotorsport.net, but I'd like to see who else here has something to say.

I am a freelance tuner, kinda new to the Grip tuning thing and I have put together a couple of cars that i think run well on Leguna Seca. Both cars were made for the FWD Leguna Seca comp, but I want to know how they would fare before entering.

Make: Mini
Model: Cooper S
Class: A-850
Best Time: 1:28.9xx
Consistent Time: 1:29.4xx (plus or minus .3xx seconds)

Make: Nissan
Model: Altima 07
Class: A-850
Best Time: 1:29.222 (recorded)
Consistent Time: 1:29.25x (plus or minus .03x seconds)

Are these generally good or decent times for FWD cars? Thanks for your responses!

I was told that these times (AI Driver) were comparable to a 1:24-1:25 time range in the hands of an actual human driver, which (since I can't drive for ****) I haven't yet tested. Firefly offered to test drive the Mini, and I'd like someone else to as well, if for no other reason than to get more exposure and see how different racers like/can handle the car.

What exactly do you want us to do? Test the cars?

Yeah, I'd like to see how real drivers like the car. I can gift you a copy of the tuning if you are interested...? Anyway, the point of the competition these cars are being tuned for is to find a car that drives fast EASILY. That means that putting this car in the hands of a novice would still get consistent times.

Okay, I actually deleted both of this cars to make room for my new epic FWD Saturn Ion. It is currently being run in a competition held by [787] Tuning Garage on FM.net. Once it fails there, I will be sure put the specs up on here.

In the meantime, I will be adding more cars to the list of a850 grip tunes since they seem to be my new obsession. t('o't)

I will be trying my hand at a b700 and c550 car here soon and my d400 civic is nearly finished.

I actually gave up on that venture, and now am working with Goldie and Speed to crank out some serious contenders. Check out my "Carbon Connection" collab w/ Goldie on the TM.

Oh and that D400 Civic...yeah that kinda died. I have a new toy though, and it needs some "surgery" as goldie calls it. The "defender" will be hot to trot in a few days and will be icing the track (smoking seems to be a bad thing when it comes to cars) soon after Goldie and SpeedandNasty git their grubby mitts all over it...
